There you were, Slim. Easy grin, warm heart, cool as a breeze on a summer night. And there I was—Sudsey behind the counter, serving up sarcasm with a cherry on top. We’ve been writing our own comic ever since: part romance, part screwball comedy, 100% ours.

We’ve laughed until our sides ached, weathered the sticky bits of life, and found a rhythm that feels as familiar as the crackle of an old radio tune. You’re the plot twist I didn’t see coming but wouldn’t change for the world.
